Members of the General Body
The Society shall consist of the following members:
- President of the Delhi Board of School Education Society shall be the Minister of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi and will chair the General Body Meeting.
- Vice-President of the Delhi Board of School Education Society shall be the Secretary (Education), Government of NCT of Delhi and will chair the General Body Meetings in the absence of the President.
- Secretary (Finance), Government of NCT of Delhi.
- Director (Education), Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi.
- Director (Higher Education), Government of NCT of Delhi
- Director (Technical Education), Government of NCT of Delhi
- Director, Department of Woman and Child Development.
- Chairperson, DCPCR
- Chairperson of the Delhi Board of School Education
- Chief Executive Officer of Delhi Board of School Education will be ex-officio Secretary of the Society.
- Controller of Accounts, DoE, Government of NCT of Delhi
- Principal Advisor to Director of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi
- Vice- Chancellor Delhi Technological University
- Vice- Chancellor Ambedkar University
- Vice-Chancellor Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University
- Director, SCERT Delhi
- All Heads of Departments of the Delhi Board of School Education
- Two Educationists, to be nominated by Minister of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi
- Two representatives from industries to be nominated by MOE Government of NCT of Delhi who have significant employability and social responsibility
- One Head of the school to be nominated by the Director (Education)
- Two elected Heads of Schools, one each from a Government and a Private School
- One Secondary School Teacher to be nominated by Director (Education)
- Two elected Teachers, one each from a Government and a Private School
- Two SMC (Parents) Members to be nominated by MoE
- All members of the Executive Body, not included above
The Powers and Functions of the Executive Body
- On advice of the General Body, the Executive Body shall exercise the powers within the context of the Vision and Objectives of the Society. In general, the Executive Body will have all the powers of the society vested in it, to manage its affairs and to enable it to function smoothly and effectively.

The following will be the substantive powers and functions of the Executive Body:
- Implementation of Policies and Programmes of Actions;
- Decision making;
- Staffing
- Exercising the Review Functions
- Any other issue that may arise during functioning of the Board.

The Executive Body shall have the following members:
- The Director of Education, Govt. Of NCT of Delhi will be the ex-officio Chairperson of the Delhi Board of School Education who will also be Chairperson of the Executive Body;
- Chief Executive Officer of Delhi Board of School Education will be the Member Secretary of the Executive Body;
- Advisors / Administrative Heads of all the Departments of Delhi Board of School Education;
- Representative of DoE, GNCTD to be nominated by the Director (Education)
- Controller of Accounts, DoE, GNCTD
